Tax Manager

Awesome opportunity for an experienced tax manager

Multi Billion Dollar home decor company located in Greenwich, CT is looking for a experienced tax manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review corporate tax returns for completeness and accuracy
• Assist with research and planning according to current tax laws and evaluate the tax impact of current and proposed company activities and transactions
• Prepare FAS 109 provision calculation
• Prepare and maintain Transfer Pricing Documentation
• Implement strategies to minimize corporate tax liability in accordance with current laws
• Support tax director on tax audits by outside regulatory agencies
• Review all annual reports for US entities
• Review franchise tax returns
• Review all estimated tax payments
• Review account reconciliation of federal and state income tax accrual accounts
• Draft responses for various tax notices
• Work with the controller on asset depreciation schedules and policies
• Liaise with outside tax preparers, other departments and subsidiaries as required
• Develop staff

Position Requirements:

• Accounting Degree
• CPA
• MST a plus
• 5+ years of tax experience
• Ability to demonstrate sound business judgment, integrity and professionalism
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), including ability to simplify and communicate complex information
• Ability to organize projects, meet deadlines and handle multiple demands, all while paying strong attention to detail
• Ability to motivate staff to work towards goals in the best interest of the organization, its people, and clients
• Desire to improve the work environment and the quality of client service.
